Big collapses

Here are instances that I can find of teams losing 8 wickets for fewer than 40 runs
with the collapse beginning at a total over 300 in first-class cricket

16: 304-2 to 320-10 Somerset v Australians at Taunton, 2013
22: 419-2 to 441-10 Middlesex v Gloucestershire at Bristol, 1995
26: 311-2 to 337-10 Gloucestershire v Hampshire at Southampton, 1979
31: 304-2 to 335-10 Kent v Yorkshire at Canterbury, 1886
31: 310-2 to 341-10 Warwickshire v Glamorgan at Cardiff, 1999
36: 311-2 to 347-10 Lancashire v Yorkshire at Manchester, 1912
